Description

This white plastic pump is designed for 1 gallon jugs or 1 quart bottles that feature a 38-400 neck finish. These pumps are a classic dispensing option used for lotion but can also be used for a variety of viscous hair and skincare products. This plastic pump features a polypropylene (PP) body that is tough with good chemical resistance. This is a lock down pump, meaning to lock the user should push down and turn the pump.

This pump works better with viscous liquids such as gels or lotions, however due to its lower 4cc output (0.13oz) it can be used for liquids as well – although it is not the most efficient dispensing method for liquids. We recommend not using a full depression pump when dispensing liquids.

Material:

Polypropylene (PP) is a tough plastic that has good chemical resistance. PP is translucent in its natural state but can have a glossy finish when produced with color. Some examples of common products made with PP are dairy and medication containers. Polypropylene is suitable for hot fill applications of up to 165°F and is therefore great for autoclaving. It is not recommended for cold or sub-freezing temperatures.
